Over Broken Ground 2015 - Current

She Will Press Onward Over Broken Ground strives not to revisit but to revisualize time, blurring the boundaries of current political events and childhood memories. It also serves as a personal archaeological urban dig of Pittsburgh, the rust belt city for which I have inhabited all my life. Some of the prints incorporate on site photography with the inclusion of a child model taken at Julie Schenkelberg's installation, The Color of Temperance: Embodied Energy shown at The Mattress Factory in 2016. Permission from the artist and museum was obtained.
