This series of prints challenges the senseless actions that result when legislating discriminating practices based on race. Inspiration for the series came after discovering on eBay hundreds of broken dolls made in Germany prior to WWII. Housed in abandoned factories, historians note that industrial doll making plants were shut down to produce war machines, it is also speculated that the Nazi’s objected to the questionable character of the dolls. I have reconstructed the factory and de-criminalized the contents.
